The Search for True Satisfaction
Many people spend their lives searching for something that will bring them complete happiness, only to find that nothing truly satisfi es. Whether it’s success, relationships, or material possessions, these things can never fi ll the void in our hearts. Only Jesus offers what our souls truly long for—living water that never runs dry.
"On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, ‘Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”
John 7:37-38
The Living Water Jesus Offers
Jesus promises that those who come to Him will never thirst again. The world offers temporary satisfaction, but He provides an eternal source of life.
When we drink from the well of the world, we remain thirsty. But when we drink from Jesus, we receive a fresh, bubbling spring that leads to eternal life.
"Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.’”
John 4:13-14 (NLT)

Happiness vs. Joy
Happiness is fleeting and depends on external circumstances, while joy is deep, lasting, and rooted in God. When we seek joy in Christ, we experience contentment regardless of what is happening around us.
"The only one who can satisfy the human heart is the one who made it."
The Only Way to the Father
Jesus makes it clear that He is the only way to true life. Salvation is not something we can earn—it is a free gift from God, made possible through Jesus’ sacrifice.
"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
John 14:6 (ESV)
"There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12 (NLT)
Salvation: A Gift from God
We do not receive salvation because of our own good works, but by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Because of what He has done, we can receive eternal life freely—it cost us nothing, but it cost God everything.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast."
Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)
Will You Drink from the Living Water?
Jesus offers us something far greater than the world ever could—eternal satisfaction, lasting joy, and salvation. The question is: Will we come to Him and drink?
